VJC Meeting Calendar
British car shows and VJC meetings are one of the great joys in life! Otherwise, why would you be reading this page?!?
These events were voted on in the December meeting, some are tentative at the moment. If you would like to host a VJC event or have an idea for an interesting VJC outing, contact the editor or any club officer. Events are normally confirmed in the newsletter, and by email close to the meeting date. Events are usually "rain or shine" due to the difficulty of canceling at short notice. If in doubt call the host.
Jan 25 Tech ‘n nosh meeting at Darbyshire Motors at 11.30 A.M. followed by private lunch at the Brickhouse Pub on Cockade Alley, Petersburg. Hosted by VJR President David Harrison.
Feb 15 Possible tech session at Dick Pilcher’s shop in Richmond, and/or visit Virginia Air Museum & Wright centenary display, then last chance visit to the Penny Lane Pub, downtown Richmond. Hosted by VJR President David Harrison.
March 15 Celebrate St Paddy’s Day. Hosted by Chuck and Maureen Barber.
Colonial Vintage Car Show, Williamsburg
April 19 Private Trolley tour of Historic Richmond plus maybe a pub or teahouse. Hosted by Steve Kelley. (22 limit on trolley)
May 4 RTR Show at the Boulders. Possible VJC Concours.
May 10 If the RTR/Concours defaults, this event will be a Colonial Parkway Tour and Tailgate Party. Bring a kite, Frisbee and your wicker basket. We will then visit the Yorktown English Pub. Hosted by Kevin & Teri Palin.
May 16-18 Import Carlisle
June 14 Old Towne Fredericksburg trolley and antique shop tour plus visit to Garland Gentry’s Restoration Shop.
July 19 Virginia Beach/Eastern region event. Details TBA
Aug 16 Annual VJC Pool Party, hosted by David & Una Harrison.
Sept British Car Day
Oct 18 Western region event, possibly Waynesborough. Details TBA
Nov 8 Goochland back road mystery tour plus tea at English TeaRoom. Host needed.
Dec VJC Holiday party hosted by Teri and Kevin Palin (and Ringo).
